Openers

Sample entry: this shows the kind of garage door or gate job we handle. The photo and details are illustrative, not a record of a specific customer job.
An old chain-drive opener sat inches from a ceiling duct and was dropping its photo-eye signal. A side-mounted jackshaft unit freed the ceiling and restored reliable closing.
The problem
Headroom above the door was tight, and the rail of the existing opener nearly touched a heating duct. The sensors kept losing alignment, so the door often refused to close. The owner also wanted the ceiling clear for overhead storage.
What we did
- Measured headroom, side room and outlet location and confirmed the door used torsion springs
- Removed the ceiling rail and old opener
- Mounted a wall-mount opener on the torsion shaft and added new photo eyes
- Programmed remotes and a keypad and tested the reversing function
The result
The ceiling is clear for storage racks, the door closes on the first press, and the new sensors are mounted solidly low on the jambs. Two remotes and an exterior keypad were set up for the household.
